Media Center
Welcome to the Media Center at Jonathan Elementary.
Children come to Media Center once each week for one hour. During that time, they learn information literacy and technology skills. Students may come to the Media Center on an individual basis any time the Media Center is open or when they have their homeroom teacher’s permission.
Book Checkout : 2 book limit
Check out period is two weeks; students may renew books during their media time. In order to renew we ask your child to bring the book to the media center.
Overdue books:
We do not charge fines for overdue books. Students with an overdue book are not allowed to checkout another book until the overdue item has been returned. To view what books your child has checked out please go to Destiny Quest and login with their username and password. Students are responsible for bringing their books to the media center.
Lost & Damaged Books:
We make every effort to assist your child in locating their books. Students who have lost or damaged a book will be expected to pay the replacement cost of the item. If the book is found at a later date, the money collected will be refunded to you.
