Staff from Traverse Counseling and Consulting will discuss the idea of a technology addiction and whether it is real or not by discussing and using current research and the current understanding technology has on the brain. Strategies for caregivers, parents, and teachers will be provided to help children establish a safe and healthy relationship with technology. Event is free to attend but registration is encouraged.
We will be taking a photo of all 5th grade students in the morning on Thursday, November 1st. Please have your child wear his/her class color for the photo. We will be going outside on the playground for the picture so dress accordingly. If raining, we will make the day up within the next couple of weeks.
What do we need from you?
We would like the kids to wear the same color shirt to represent their current 5th grade class. If your child is in:
Berends – Purple Shirt
McKeever – Red Shirt
Fuhrman – Green Shirt
Hanson – Blue Shirt
If you have any questions, please send Bridget Boche an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
