Join us as we hear from two presenters:
Anna Edlund presenting “Think Outside” which invites children to think outside themselves, the school building, and into the community.
Jake Jauert will present “Academics in Motion” and share how his active classroom supports student learning.

Come learn about common triggers that cause anxiety and depression during adolescence, as well as how to tell the difference between everyday experiences of anxiety and depression vs. clinical levels. This presentation will identify warning signs that parents and educators can watch for, give them practical tools for how to respond effectively, and offer guidance about seeking mental health treatment. Technology and Mental Health #Stigma180 @ Chanhassen High School

Staff from Traverse Counseling and Consulting will discuss the idea of a technology addiction and whether it is real or not by discussing and using current research and the current understanding technology has on the brain.  Strategies for caregivers, parents, and teachers will be provided to help children establish a safe and healthy relationship with technology. Event is free to attend but registration is encouraged.
